Hey Scott – Is this the white, silver or black edition? I’m thinking about
getting into doing some self-videoing and have been thinking the Hero3 is
probably the way to go to keep it real simple. This is probably the best
footage I’ve seen so for from a bow hunting usage standpoint.
It is a Hero3 Silver, I found that it worked well and was impressed with
the Narrow view being able to see my targets. I’ll definitely be using it
to film my hunts. I have another video that shows the wide view but it more
so gives the first person view and not what your going to be shooting. Hope
it helps.
Thanks Scott, yeah I checked out your other video in wide view and I
definitely like narrow view better. My only other question, have you taken
any low light video (i.e. last 30 minutes of shooting hours) with the
silver? I am debating between the silver and black, the only reason I am
considering the black is because it is supposedly better in low light
situations. Any thoughts you might have on low light performance of the
silver and/or black edition would be greatly appreciated.
I have used the silver at daybreak while turkey hunting and I will say that
its grainy but that is the only low light situation I have used it. I have
not tried it with a bow in my hand, just while walking in the woods in the
morning so its hard to say.
Thanks again for the feedback Scott! Say, do you think you could shoot me
an email with a picture of how exactly you have the cam setup on your head?
You clearly have it perfected and would like to copy your setup exactly. My
email is prusta81@gmail.com. Thanks, Adam

Good shooting dude! How far is that buck from stand?
Thank you, buck target is 35 yards, the gopro makes it look like its much
further.
where was it mounted at?
You should get a camouflage Cyclops Bandana mount for your GoPro.
You can find them on Ebay.
