Man that is stellar footage, congrats. Didn’t realize you shot one later
that day. Gotta ask, was your video camera behind you running for the
entire hunt, or did you use a remote?
Can you do a video about how you decide on location (what do you prefer
location-wise, back or front cover, etc. do you doctor an area, brush in or
leave natural?), your clothing (must be quiet), how you draw (saw in a
couple videos how you draw slowly and sometimes even half draw, stop, then
continue). I’ve taken a few deer from the ground and would like to do more
in the future. I actually have plans on moving in on a couple of deer that
have been by-passing my treestand.
I took my first deer/buck with a bow this year from the ground. I just sat
by sagebrush and he came out at 50 yards, I got a nice lung shot he didn’t
go 40 yards. ground hunting in the open is so rewarding! by far best moment
of my life!
