@KerriganVODs that’s good. now have fun spending a few hundred dollars on a
decent starting bow and then spending hours and dedication to get decent.
it’s fun.
@KerriganVODs hope you got fitted before purchasing. then again it doesn’t
really make too much of a difference for recurve, but make sure you get
suitable arrows. Are you planning to hunt or just target shoot?
My bow was about $100-$200 and I think its decent quality. Ive seen bows at
$70 work well. It was a childrens bow, but I use it every now and then for
the shits and giggles 😛
and here I though king Obama doing everything in his power (and way beyond
it as well for that matter) to bring that socialist comrade spirit to US,
roflol..
I have a question. why is the pulley system used? how does it work? I mean
wouldn’t the mechanical advantage translate backwards into less force
applied to the arrow?
+ChaosThePony That is the worst idea ever. Unless you have the person you
are shooting at get covered in like a foot of foam all over so that they
can’t you will kill them
The reason that most countries forbid hunting with bow and arrow is not
because it is reserved for royalty. It is because the ferociously greater
risk of only injuring the animal without killing it; or making it suffer
through a slow death. /European
A compound bow doesn’t have to be more accurate just because it’s a
compound bow. There are recurve bows that are very accurate in the right
hands. What the compound bow does allow is to guarantee a better accuracy
more easily for a longer time due to the cam mechanism.
@Editisement feel like a five years old :E

I’m thinking of getting one for use in Airsoft, by using padded tips

very nice bow. how much is that? i really need a new one.
Your posture looks a little far back? Maybe too much draw length?

What? Bowhunting reserved for royalty?
why are there 3 lines in compound bow, and only one is used to draw the
arrow back?

Where is bow hunting reserved for royalty?
