Awesome! I’m going to build myself one of these real soon. I’ll probably
have to stuff the clothes in real tight, seeing that I shoot a custom 83
pound Turbohawk at 28.5 ” with a 500grain Realtree Easton St Axis which
    does 280 fps. 3D animals rock back-and-forth when I shoot them…

@Willewitte That’s amazing! 83lbs! Must be something else to shoot. Email
me if you need more indepth info on building the target. I’d like to see
how yours turns out. Thanks for watching.

I use straw bales stacked in front of an old shed for my backdrop. few
panels of 10 sheet thick cardboard taped together and nailed to the barn in
between the bales in case an arrow goes through the cracks. I haven’t lost
a tip yet since I started using the cardboard.

Hi – great job and I want to make one myself. I get that the sides (and
back?) are a wooden box. But I don’t know how you made the front. You
mention the foam, but what is behind the foam to keep the packed cloth and
junk from pushing out? Foam is soft, so there must be some structure to the
    front. Thanks for explaining.

Is it possible for an archery target to include just old clothing and leave
the foam out? Or is the foam necessary?

ima try it but idk if it will hold up im shootin the bowtech assassin at
27″ with 65pound and its shootin 315fps its freakin ridiculous how fast the
new bows are you almost have to buy an 80$ so your arrows dont rip through
    them.

Only a single 2″ foam sheet? that’s +5cm isn’t that easy to go through?
    also at 83lbs i think that’s a bit too much power for a 2″ foam 5-6 sheets
    are enough?
