um sorry but i think your all wrong on this. i have a 300+dmg bow and some
stuff die in one hit. where with the weaker starter bow it would take me
10, 20, 30 ARROWS to kill the same target. iv tested this on a mammoth, 3
shots with best bow, 10-15 with the weaker beginner bows. and idc how fast
ur bow is. u wont shoot 10-15 arrows out of a long bow or hunting bow befor
i make 3 with a daedric or solestiem or w.e its called bow.

The dragonbone bow has decent draw time, 30% reduced with that one perk you
get. The Nightengale bow has good enchantment, Good damage, All of that.
Zephyr is a dwarven bow that already draws faster then it should. If you
have that one perk in the archery tree, It draws 60% faster then a normal
    dwarven.

Made a Hunting Bow that does 967 damage and has 58 shock and 37 absorb
health. Works great. Thanks for telling me about the faster fire rate of
    the “weaker” bows.

thanks for that. I think using slow time and a powerful light bow would be
very effective but in the other hand so would heavy although you could
paralyse more often with light bows. But the percent system in skyrim goes
through ‘phases’. Like you said its really personal preference.

That thing about weaker bows pulling faster is bullcrap! You probably sped
up time or had a perk or something cuz that is a bag full of CRAP!

Well this was less than a month after game came out…..zephyr dlc bow with
the quick shot perk is fastest (30%+30% faster, did it myself) i think i
read travel time of arrows are a LITTLE different though

Steel Arrows are your best friend. Not Deadric Arrows. There are a lot
more Steel Arrows in the Vinalla game.

U r an idiot daedric bows can kill in one shot so it’s quicker. Also if
it’s a one shot kill you’d save more bullets not lose more reatard. Thx for
    the crappy info…

1: if hypothetically a glass bow does 22 dmg and a longbow only does 7 u
would still need to fire more than thrre times the amount of (iron) arrow
which do 8 additional dmg regardless. You even said you prefer a more
powerful bow. I honestly just dont see the point other than being a fun
fact that weaker bows fire ever so slightly faster

This is kind of a moot point unless you wanna kite backwards while trying
to hit a moving target after they come running at you. If you max out
archery/alchemy/enchanting, and make yourself some very strong poisons and
give the strongest bow you can find a strong enchantment, you’ll probably
one shot sneak attack most enemies. If you haven’t killed them or can’t
sneak/hide and they come at you, you’re better off switching to melee
    anyway.

anyone else notice that you can unleash a ton of arrows on a target and the
search body only show like 3 arrows. is this something to do with “realism”
where some bows can break or whatever? is there a percentage of # of arrows
on a target vs # of arrows retrievable?
