I Like Long bows and ReCurve bows better than Compound bows. To me it seems
the compound bows have alot of parts for no reason.

my favorite bow is the recurve compund bows look like they are to
overaccesorised plus it would be a bigger challenge to shot a long and
    recurve bow with no accesorys

it looks like hoyt vectrix, it is a hoyt bow, they design alot of the
risers similar so its hard to tell between models, but it looks similar to
    a vectrix

Where can I get one like the first compound bow? I have looked around and
compound bows have way too much to them anymore.

It depends but if its just for hobby go with a recurve bow they are very
portable and good ones will bring you to a low $150. But if you ever plan
to hunt then go with the compound. Hope this helped!

their main aim is to ease your shooting, whether it’s by increased force of
the arrow or decrease weight of the bow or stabilizer or let off potentials
etc… not one part of it is for aesthetics. Plus a lot of recurves have
additional parts similar to that of the compound, so it all depends on what
    you want it for

Wales wasn’t the only country to create longbows, and no country/region can
truly say they invented the longbow. How do you think Japanese warriors
used their longbows? The Welsh just sailed across the world in 700 AD?
