I have that same bow. I’ve shot compounds my whole life and this was my
introduction to more traditional archery. I much prefer this style
shooting. I like the custom shelf you made along with the silencers, I need
to do something similar. Well done sir.
try thinking of it more like reaching out and touching a door knob instead
of shooting an arrow , let the arrow be you finger, if you get your “self ”
out of the way, you brain already knows how to touch the target,,
Try keeping your hand in contact with your face when you release. Also I
always used a tied on string nock point using serving material. This allows
you to fine tune the nock height by twisting it up or down, if tied
properly. Nice bow!
Absolutely beautiful bow. I watched your video on how to make the coon tail
silencers. I wanted to put some on my pse razorback but sadly we have no
raccoons in northern Nevada. Anyway brother, I hope you enjoy your trip
into the great north and I look forward to your return and more videos from
you.
Coworker bought a Bear Montana this spring. Bow would not stay strung.
String would pop off one end often. Wound up taking it back and get another
bow. You ever had this happen on yours?
My modified 55lb Bear Archery Montana Longbow.

I stink at anything beyond 15 yards! I have a way to go. Nice mods. Take
care and happy hunting -Chris
