British archers. One of the finest archers known in history. I hope to see
that Great Britain would still bring it’s legacy as to the title where they
    are great archers :)

I think all the gadgets should be illegal. i bet any of those tribes in
Africa would wipe the floor with all of them with just a stick and a string
    if they were all equal.

Stupid traditionalists. Think these bows are impressive? Google Image
“Compound Bow”. Then see what you think.

I like normal, old fashion bows with no new high tech stuff. Katniss
    Everdeen, Susan, and Legolas’s style

i say you go for it and ask your parents to pay for your lessons…
Usually, people are born into their sport and start really early.
especially archery, shooting, and equestrian. But you can do anything if
    you have the desire.

Oh I don’t really shoot a lot, but I’m a fan of archery :) Especially after
a lot of my fandoms have bows and arrows. But for your question,
Legolas-style bow- neat, wooden, and awesome. 😀

If you mean like begin to compete then not very long, if you have equipment
go out to a local completion, even if you don’t win it’s still a bunch of
fun and helps with experience 😉

You stop modifying a bow when the modifications no longer make it a bow any
more. If you were to turn it on its side and stick in the ground it would
be a small ballista. Also, if you to add a motor to a rowing bow it would
be a motor boat since it has a motor.

All these “gadgets” don’t magically give you better scores, they will only
help you if you have the skills to be able to use them. And theses archers
don’t rely on technology. The idea behind these bow is to make them as
consistent as possible so the archers don’t have to worry about anything
    else but their form.

I will agree to disagree on this topic then. For me, a shooting competition
in which the bullseye is the size of a dime and located 50m away, and the
Gold Medal scores 600 points to the Silver Medal’s 599 is incredibly
exciting. It’s just a different type of discipline. If you’re not familiar,
you’d enjoy 3D Archery Shoots, but unfortunately they are not an Olympic
    sport.
