As always exciting. and good to see your shooting on the move and still hit
the target it’s fun and educational to jump and shoot and the story of the
seljukian warrior is very interesting sincerely, Lars Andersen
Thank you for showing some of the technique that is used for this form of
archery shooting. I know that it is not magic to do what is done on this
video. I have shot a bow and arrow since the age of 12 and this ability to
shoot while jumping or falling or even reloading while moving is magic to
me. It takes me 5 seconds or so for me to shoot my fastest with an aimed
arrow that is already nocked. Your skills astound me.
This is meant to show the advantages of thumbrelease. The shot stability is
one of the advantages that helped horseback archers shoot more comfortably,
but it is not the only purpose. Even on foot, real combat requires shooting
in instable positions, on move or from inproper stances. However, yes,
those are very fine ground exercises for horseback archery.
Thank you! One of the two bows (the one I shoot) is Grozer Turkish model.
The other one, shot by my colleague in historical outfit (Akın Öğretici) is
a bow made by a Turkish bowyer. Both bowsa re made of synthetic materials.
Fantastic video, I need to learn how to shoot with the thumb-release. If
I’m going to use Turkish-style bows, I might as well learn to shoot them
properly
It is a Grozer Turkish lamimnated bow. About compounds: They are incredible
shooting machines but for most archery enthusiasts (at least for me) they
can not be considered as bows. If it comes to traditional bowa as a
practical weapon of war and hunting accuracy may not be the most important
thing all the time.
Hello! Our club members are getting their bows from Grozer. Some bows made
by Mehmet Golhan are still in use within the group but recently we faced
some severe twisting problems with those.
Selamlar!. I just wanted to ask you something. I’m in izmir now and I want
to buy a turkish traditional bow, do you know someone in Turkey that makes
good and cheap bows?. I know grozer bows, but grozer turkish bows are a bit
out of my budget. Tesekkurler!
Thank you so much! İyiki varsınız hocam. Almanya’dan kucak dolusu sevgiler
ve saygılar.

So, if you want to learn horse archery, you had to shoot while jumping up
and down?

Couldnt do this with a compound. That’s whats so fun about tradgear. And
before someone starts dicking around, I shoot compounds.
