The thing that bothers me about hunting is all this gadgety bullshit. Kick
it oldschool. Did our ancestors use compound hunting bows and tree stands?
Fuck no! They used a real bow and stood up in a tree like a boss, or they
chased after the dear until it wore out and stabbed that fucker in the
    heart with a blade.

You don’t need camouflage or a approved stand! If you have any piece of
clothing tht breaks up your pattern is camp for deer they don’t see color
only outlines. I go use name brand camouflage scent look and under armoire
but it is not needed and tree stand is something you feel comfrotable in if
you trust yourself in a stand you built and it holds it’s good always wear
a tree harness though and don’t use mechanical for beginners either and
make sure if you get a bow tht it is in time and safe a

Because effective range for most bowhunters is under 30 yards. Beyond that,
you’re really risking a poor shot that will wound and injure the deer
instead of kill it quickly. Rifle shots are routinely taken from 100-300
yards and stalking is more reasonable to do. Try to stalk and follow a
whitetail within 40 yards in the woods, and that deer will bust you in the
    first five paces.

If your ancestor were handed a compound bow, crossbow or a scoped firearm,
you can bet your ass they would happily use it to hunt game.
