good job and nice to see some cooking been bow shooting for a bit now but
hard to find property’s im in berwick got some tips for me to find some
areas
thanks pal, re: finding property’s it can be a hard task, best advice i can
give you is to start to look at google earth for area’s where game may be
and then approach the owners with a request, get yourself insured and offer
them pest control and or a share in the meat, work or help on the property.
Dont forget there is a huge amount of public land which is open for hunting
also, see Vic DPI for the maps and grab yourself a deer license and head on
out, stay safe and all the best.
I really like your video, i have been practicing archery for a year now and
i am trying to get really good at it so i can go bow hunting. i also live
in melbourne and im looking for a good area to go to so i can try ur recipe
myself. do you use a range finder? is it essential to have one when u go
hunting cause i dont have one and they can be expensive. thanks for advise
and help to fellow bowhunters!.
hi there, bowhunters need to ensure they practice to be able to put a good
ethical shot on animals so well done. I do use a range finder most times
but there are times where i judge the distance as well, they are not
essential to use but they certainly help. Register on bowhunting-forum
dotcom and take a look at the classifieds section and see if anyone is
selling a second hand one also some great people and advice to help, i know
im always learning, all the best mate
Hi Andrew, i purchased mine off ebay and closely checked the weight of
them, if not i sent emails to request it. Type in ‘camp axe’ or ‘camp
hatchet’ into ebay and see how you go. There are some good ones there. Be
aware of how you use them though mate as too much contact with bone could
break the weaker metal ones, in which case just grind it back again to the
thicker part, all the best!
thanks Tom, i purchased the APA Mamba M6 direct from APA Archery in Canada,
they have a website where you can look at the range of bows and prices,
cheers mate
thanks mate, re getting closer, that one had me pegged staring right at me
and i didnt see him as id walked out of the brush. Also, its not easy to
carry a tripod and camera and a bow and get it all set up in the moment, it
doesnt always go off that way, this one didnt. So i opt for a bow cam as
much as possible to try and capture the hits. cheers
i want to start bow hunting but im new and im only 16 i use to play around
with a bow and stuff when i was younger but i always loved bows and stuff i
see people always using compound bows and stuff but i don’t know their
prices here in canada and i am not sure where to look for them i know how
to tell if the bow will work for me and everything but any tips for a
beginner ?? do i need to be like older then 18 to do it or ?? here u can be
12 and hunt small game with a gun but using a bow idk
Take no notice of him bowhuntz2 mate hes not even Australian i bet, take
your trolls and rack off JustxTrollin this page is for the true bow hunters
not jack offs. and again Bowhuntz2 cheers for the great vid mate keep em
coming
I really like the hunter in this video , HE IS USING NEARLY all the parts
of the rabbit instead of just not eating it and putting it of a frame like
MOST hunters do. I Liked the rabbit recipe though ! Nice vid :P
Great video, you must be seriously good to hunt like that 😀 I’ve never
heard yards as measure used in AUS though. Would have loved to see the
rabbit dressing and meal made in real time though.
i had a guess it may have been in VIC, I live in Brisbane. Not sure if
there are rabbits up this way.
