There is a way to turn the beep off, turn the blinking light off, and also
have it set up to automatically record when you hit the power button. I
can’t remember how to do it exactly but it is in the instructions that come
with the camera. I always keep my instructions with the camera. I have a
hard time remembering all of the acronyms.

go into the settings and when you see: bpo click the top capture button on
the gopro and it will say bpf which is off.

If I remember right, it was just under 40yds. I remember pegging a tree
behind the deer just before she walked up that was at 45yds.

Im using 100 grain Muzzy 4 blades. For my setup, seems to be the only thing
that shoots the same as practice tips. They also can punch through quite a
    bit and take a beating.

Hi! when you use the gopro do you just leave it on or do have it on one
button and no beep mode so you can just reach up and hit on?

Thanks! I figured, I guess the simple motion of turning it on is less
likely to be seen by the buck than standing up and drawing the bow lol!
    thanks for the fast response!

heck of a shot. I use the mx 3 muzzy to back up my slick tricks love a 4
    blade broadhead!

Were you using the Frame Only Housing, the audio quality is better than I
    normally hear with GoPro’s

Im sorry, I know that its cruel but I just laughed for a good 5 minutes
from that deer hitting the tree. Awesome shot, not sure if its from the
wide view of the camera but that looks like more than 40 yards. I can
believe it though, I use a go pro hero 3 black edition for the racecar,
motorcycles and what not and the wide view lens def kills the long distance
view. (checkout my videos if you like). question though. Do you record only
when the action starts? I can only get about an hour with 1080p recording
on a 16gb sd card. I plan on using it to record some archery hunting this
year, maybe a larger card is what i need. If I record in 4k…forget memory
    at that point.
